Kent Beck – highly accomplished software engineer – writes on his blog about using Saros, the distributed pair programming tool that I started during my university thesis. I wish he had less troubles setting it up on his Mac, but still an awesome feeling to know that an idol of mine is using something which I created. He already mentioned it in a tweet a couple of weeks ago and now seems to be using it to work on jUnit.
Karl Beecher, chief architect on Saros, also writes about the encounter on his blog. Big kudos to him, Christopher Özbek and the rest of the Saros team for the huge progress that they’ve done on the project since my humble beginnings.
